Job summary

Hampton Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help deliver high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness, assist with deliveries, stock, and work closely with the Chef and team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

This role offers a consistent 40-hour week, with paid DBS, pension and uniform provided, plus 5.6 weeks of annual leave based on a full-time contract.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach.

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.

Hampton Care Home is a spacious, purpose-built home in the London suburb of Hampton, providing high-quality nursing, dementia, palliative and short-term care for up to 76 residents. Set across three floors with generous ensuite bedrooms, dedicated staff teams and secure landscaped gardens, the home offers a safe, supportive and welcoming environment designed for comfort, dignity and quality of life.

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 40 hours per week

• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
