Job summary

Budd Shirtmakers in Minnesota seeks an Experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist (Menswear) to operate industrial sewing machines and produce luxury bespoke, made-to-measure and ready-to-wear shirts and nightwear to exacting standards.

You will construct shirt components, finish and press garments to high quality, follow patterns and specifications, inspect fabric for defects, collaborate with the team, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Operate industrial sewing machines to construct high-quality luxury bespoke, Made-to-measure and ready to wear shirts and nightwear, to Budd Shirtmakers' exceptional standards.
• Construct shirt components, including collars, cuffs, and plackets, with advanced sewing skills and outstanding precision
• When required, finish and press garments to the highest standards, ensuring every piece meets our exacting quality requirements.
• Work accurately to patterns and technical specifications, maintaining consistency across all garments
• Inspect fabric for defects or imperfections before cutting and construction
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure an efficient and harmonious workflow
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area
