Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Cranberry Township, PA, is seeking a Reactor Vessel Internals Engineer 2 to provide technical support in reactor vessel internals design and analysis. This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days onsite per week, and reports to the Manager, Reactor Vessel Internals and Component Design.

Main duties include analytical calculations, developing documentation, and coordinating with leads, PMs and customers, with occasional on-site travel for issues resolution.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or recognized equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in the mechanical field (aeronautics, nuclear, special machines).
• Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam.
• Must have technical writing skills.
• 1+ years of experience with Finite Element Analysis, including if possible nonlinear analysis.

About the role:

As a Reactor Vessel Internals Engineer 2, you will provide technical support for assigned work performed in reactor vessel internals design and analysis.

You will report to the Manager, Reactor Vessel Internals and Component Design and be located at Cranberry, PA. You will support this in a hybrid capacity, requiring 2-3 days a week onsite.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $69,200 to $86,500 per year.
