Job summary

Third Coast in Pearland, TX is seeking a Reactor Operator to work under the direction of the Reaction Supervisor in our chemical processing facility. You will monitor operating conditions, start up and shut down equipment, control all reactor and distillation processes, and maintain accurate records while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a 12-hour rotating shift, willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays, and the ability to follow LOTO and plant procedures

Qualifications

• Interpersonal communication with teams, personnel and vendors.
• Basic computer skills including data entry and Excel.
• Proven ability to follow safety procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Understand Reaction and Blending procedures.
• Monitor operating conditions, report variances and take actions to maintain performance.
• Work a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Understand LOTO procedures and apply them as required.
• Maintain safety, environmental and work order documentation.
