Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in Plano, TX, to contribute across the full SDLC, from requirements to implementation. You will design, code, review, and test frontend features using ReactJS, TypeScript, and modern UI libraries, while coordinating with cross‑functional teams to ensure robust, scalable software solutions.

The role emphasizes hands‑on coding, design discussion, and proactive testing, with opportunities to work onsite in the US and collaborate with offshore teams

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

• Strong hands‑on expertise in ReactJS, with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Experience with component libraries and UI frameworks such as Angular Material, Material UI, Bootstrap, or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of state management such as NgRx, Redux, or Context API, and building reusable UI components/design systems.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise backend services using JSON, OAuth2, and JWT.

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Working experience with cloud‑hosted applications, preferably AWS, and cloud‑native modernization programs.
• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, performance tuning, and secure coding practices.
• Experience supporting applications with a large enterprise user base.
• Exposure to Node.js, micro‑frontends, modern build tooling, containerized deployments, and frontend architecture modernization.
• Experience in automotive, retail, dealer, customer experience, or similarly complex enterprise domains.
• Strong troubleshooting, estimation, stakeholder management, presentation, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with offshore time zones across US.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
