Job summary

C.C.Clark Inc. seeks a Reactive Service Technician to diagnose and repair fountain beverage systems, vending machines and cooling equipment. You will troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Requires ability to lift 50 lbs, travel up to 75% daily local, HS diploma or GED, and a valid Class B license. HVAC/refrigeration exposure and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • HVAC Refrigeration trade or vocational certification preferred.
  • Plumbing and/or electrical/mechanical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Repair Fountain units, Beverage Vending machines and Beverage Cooling equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair to keep refrigeration equipment operational.
  • Prepare equipment according to company standards.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
  • Maintain inventory and keep work area clean and safe.
  • Maintain positive customer relations and work in a team environment.
  • Other duties as needed to support company success.

Job description

Overview

The Reactive Service Technician reports to the local Cooler Service Supervisor and performs repairs on Fountain units, Beverage Vending machines and Beverage Cooling equipment, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Able to lift and move 50 lbs. Multiple times per day.
  • Move equipment to perform repair and maintenance procedures as needed.
  • Keep all refrigeration equipment operational by troubleshooting and repairing as needed.
  • Prepare equipment according to company standards.
  • Safely operate company supplied vehicles and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
  • Ensure assigned vehicle is properly stocked with the correct level of parts inventory.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Maintain positive customer relations.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Self-Motivated
  • Any other duties deemed necessary to continue to keep our company successful.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred.
  • Plumbing and/or electrical/mechanical experience preferred.
Additional Qualifications and Competencies
  • Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Minimum Class B valid driver’s license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
Work Environment

This position requires exposure to all seasonal weather conditions, traffic noise, automotive fumes, and cramped quarters.

The employee must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and is frequently required to move large equipment (up to 900 pounds) with the help of a dolly. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Travel

Up to 75% daily local travel required. No routine overnight travel is expected.
