Job summary

Confiz is seeking an experienced React UI Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable user interfaces for modern web apps. Hybrid role based in Seattle, WA, with onsite presence four days per week (Mon-Thu) and remote Fridays.

Ideal candidate has deep React expertise, strong UI/UX sensibilities, and a track record of performant front-end solutions. Experience with Java services and cloud infra (Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years in front-end or UI development.
• 2+ years of hands-on React.js experience.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3 skills.
• Experience with Hooks, Context and functional components.
• Redux for state management experience.
• RESTful APIs integration experience.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for scalability and consistency.
• Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into clean, efficient code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
• Lead front-end architecture decisions and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Ensure best practices in state management, component design, and performance optimization.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure UI reliability and quality.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
