Job summary

GDX Development is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to advance our mobile product for national security workloads. You will work with a team that understands mission workflows and help deliver production-quality React Native features for field operations.

You will translate requirements, implement mapping and geospatial capabilities with Mapbox, and ensure UI/UX consistency across mobile and web products. This role emphasizes collaboration, reliability, and secure development practices.

Qualifications

• Experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
• Ability to create attractive, coherent mobile UI/UX.
• Develop native React Native modules when features require platform-level capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with mapping or geospatial applications, particularly Mapbox.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate approved requirements into well-scoped mobile features with testing and release readiness.
• Build and maintain production-quality React Native code, reusable components, and navigation flows.
• Establish consistent UI/UX patterns across mobile and contribute to shared standards.
• Implement mapping features using Mapbox and related geospatial capabilities.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership; participate in discovery and design reviews.
• Validate work, investigate defects, and maintain a reliable release process.
