Job summary

Goaugment is seeking a hands-on React Native Developer with 4+ years of experience to build, ship, and maintain cross‑platform mobile apps for iOS and Android. You will work with the lead developer to deliver features using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript, while integrating JWT-based authentication with REST APIs and leveraging AI‑powered coding tools to boost productivity.

You will communicate directly with US clients, participate in code reviews, and support QA across real devices and beta

We are looking for a hands‑on React Native Developer with 4+ years of experience in building, shipping, and maintaining cross‑platform mobile applications.

You will work closely with our lead developer to develop and ship features across iOS and Android, using modern mobile development practices and AI‑powered coding tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship cross‑platform mobile application features using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
• Integrate existing REST APIs with JWT-based authentication.
• Implement camera and media capture, offline‑tolerant data entry, and data synchronization.
• Follow established architecture, coding standards, and development patterns.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools to improve coding efficiency, debugging, testing, and development workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the lead developer and architect.
• Support QA, real‑device testing, and beta releases for iOS and Android.
• Communicate directly with US clients, understand requirements, provide project updates, and address feedback.
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes, documentation, and application performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience in React Native mobile application development.
• Must have successfully developed, shipped, and maintained at least 2+ production mobile applications on the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store.
• Strong proficiency in React Native, Expo (SDK 5x preferred), TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with React Navigation v7, Zustand, TanStack Query, and Expo Camera.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and implementing JWT/token‑based authentication.
• Mandatory hands‑on experience with AI‑powered development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants.
• Ability to use AI tools for code generation, debugging, refactoring, testing, and improving development productivity.
• Must have direct US client handling experience, including requirement discussions, technical communication, project updates, and handling client feedback.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote team with reasonable overlap with US/India working hours.

• Native iOS or Android development experience.
• Experience with camera integration, computer vision, or on‑device media performance.
• Experience building AI agents and workflow orchestration.
• Familiarity with offline‑first mobile applications and data synchronization.
