Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an experienced React Native Developer to design and ship cross-platform mobile apps for Android and iOS.

The role is remote, open to qualified applicants in the United States, with responsibilities spanning development through production, collaboration with design/QA/backend teams, and ongoing performance improvements. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong hands-on experience in the React Native framework.
• Solid understanding of mobile development principles, with experience building apps for more than one target OS (preferably Android and iOS).
• Understanding of the end-to-end activities involved in developing a cross-platform mobile app, from development to production.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript development and build tools.
• Awareness of good practices in client-side coding.
• Solid understanding of software design and patterns such as MVC, Delegation, Singleton, Factory, and Adapter.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced React Native Developer to build and ship high-quality cross-platform mobile apps for Android and iOS. You’ll take features from development through production, working closely with design, QA, and backend teams to deliver reliable, polished user experiences.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 70,000– $ 100,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
