Job summary

VDart Inc. is seeking a React Developer in Bellevue, WA to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using React.js and TypeScript.

You will architect frontend patterns, collaborate with product and backend teams, and drive coding standards across the squad. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in frontend development, deep React knowledge (hooks, context, performance), and strong testing experience with Jest/RTL/Cypress.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain complex, high-performance web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Architect scalable frontend solutions, establishing patterns and standards for component design, state management, and code organization.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and champion engineering best practices across the team.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Own the frontend build pipeline, tooling, and CI/CD integration for frontend deployments.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, with strong unit and integration test coverage.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt proactively.
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and evaluate their fit for the team.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with at least 3+ years focused on React.js.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and strong working knowledge of TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of React fundamentals: hooks, context API, component lifecycle, performance optimization (memoization, code-splitting, lazy loading).
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or React Query.
• Strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches (CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, SCSS, or styled-components).
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL integration.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Solid understanding of frontend build tools and package managers.
• Familiarity with version control (GitLab) and collaborative workflows
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility best practices.
