Job summary

AtWork Personnel is seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift / Reach Truck Operator for a busy warehouse in Huntsville, AL. The role involves operating sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to move, load, unload, and store materials while supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory operations.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and experienced in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Compensation is $18.00 per hour with weekly pay; 1st shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts and reach trucks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trailers while ensuring product accuracy and minimizing damage.
• Pick and stage orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Move inventory to designated storage locations and replenish stock as needed.
• Verify product quantities and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies.
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory counts as needed.
• Perform other warehouse duties assigned by management.
