Job summary

Coda Resources Ltd. is seeking an Equipment Operator/Reach Truck Operator to move pallets, load and unload inventory, and use handheld RF scanners in a fast-paced warehouse.

Training will take place at our Glendale Heights facility, with a planned transition to our brand-new Joliet warehouse as operations relocate. Upon completion, this role will be based in Joliet on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse or material-handling experience.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move pallets through narrow warehouse aisles and high-density storage racks.
• Safely and efficiently load and unload palletized and floor-loaded inventory from shipping containers.
• Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift equipment and battery inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Scan, track, and verify products using handheld RF scanning devices.
• Replenish primary pick locations from reserve storage rack locations to maintain inventory availability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment while following all company policies and OSHA safety requirements.
• Consistently complete daily work assignments accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
