Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Material Handler II in Shepherdsville, KY. This flexible part-time role (up to 24 hours weekly) involves operating reach trucks and dock stockers, using SAP/WMS, and coordinating inventory movements between production and storage areas.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, order fulfillment, shipping preparations, data entry in SAP, and collaboration across departments to meet objectives while adhering to safety and 7S standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating forklifts, including dock stockers and reach trucks.
• Inventory organization and maintenance.
• Inventory tracking as products are received into, moved through, and shipped from the warehouse.
• Perform cycle counting of inventoried materials with data entry of count results.
• Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document in systems.
• Fill and check customer orders and hand off processed packages to carriers.
• Stage, process, package, and ship material and orders accurately.
• Enter data in SAP/WMS programs.
• Unassisted lifting up to 50lbs.
• Follow safety regulations and 7s guidelines.

Job Description

As a Material Handler II at Arvato, you will be responsible for operating various powered industrial equipment, primarily a reach truck, to accurately transport component materials between the production departments and stage/storage locations. You will also use SAP/ERP for inputs and outputs as well as transport finished and semi-finished goods from production departments to shipping or other appropriate locations.

This is a flexible part-time position with no minimum weekly hour requirement. Employees can work up to 24 hours per week.

Standard Part-Time 12 hour shifts:

• Saturday: 6:00 AM- 6:00 PM
• Sunday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Monday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Flexible Part-Time 4 hour shifts: Part-time employees may also work in 4-hour increments, with a minimum shift length of 4 hours.

• Saturday, Sunday & Monday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Saturday, Sunday & Monday: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

YOUR TASKS

• 1 year of experience operating forklifts, including dock stockers and reach trucks.
• Inventory organization and maintenance
• Inventory tracking as products are received into, moved through, and shipped from the warehouse
• Perform cycle counting of inventoried materials that can include counting, recording, re-counting, and data entry of count results
• Inspect inventory for defects or damages, including documentation of such into warehouse & inventory management systems
• Fill and check customer orders, including handing off processed packages to carriers
• Stage, process, package, and ship material & orders accurately, including receipt and delivery to internal clients
• Enter data in warehouse management (SAP) programs
• Interface with and assist management, including across departments, to ensure key objectives are realized
• Unload incoming material from truck shipments and assist delivery carriers with the unloading of parcels
• Inspect, review, verify, and record inbound material against delivery paperwork and document any discrepancies through appropriate channels
• Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements
• Unassisted lifting up to 50lbs
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Follow and maintain 7s Program and guidelines
• Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal oriented work environment

Qualifications

• At least 1year of experience operating a reach truck
• 1+ years of relevant work experience in warehouse or logistics
• Knowledge of WMS (warehouse management system) pertaining to warehouse activities required
• High school diploma or equivalent education required
