Job summary

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a qualified Reach Truck/Forklift Operator to load, unload, and transport material across the Bolingbrook facility. You will operate forklifts and manual lifting devices, verify quantities, and use RF scanners to route inventory to appropriate locations.

The role requires 3 years of powered equipment experience, a high school diploma, and English proficiency; the position offers shift options (1st, 2nd, 3rd) with competitive pay starting at $22 per hour plus

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating powered equipment with understanding of forklift operations, weight capacities, and attachments.
• 2+ years of steady experience operating a Reach Truck.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be an excellent performer; deliver high-quality results consistently.
• Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Able to work well with and motivate a team.
• Fluent in English and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and manual lifting devices to deliver material to production machines/workstations; distribute material/inventory using FIFO method.
• Manually or mechanically load or unload material from pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the facility.
• Organize production material and inventory; use RF Scanner to scan material to locations and verify quantities.
• Ensure inventory is available for production use and coordinate ordering of material/inventory.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment and communicate maintenance needs or damage; charge/fill batteries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
