Job summary

UPLIFT Desk in Austin, TX is hiring a Warehouse Reach Truck Operator. You will safely operate Crown extended-reach trucks to move, store, and retrieve inventory in our Ferguson warehouse, with pallets up to 32 feet high and double-deep racks.

This role also covers general warehouse duties such as picking, shipping, loading, unloading, and maintaining safety. Strong safety mindset, reliability, and teamwork are essential, along with ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours.

Qualifications

• Two years of reach-truck operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience operating Crown extended-reach trucks and placing/retrieving pallets from ~32 ft high racks.
• Experience in double-deep and quad-deep racking systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Crown extended-reach trucks to transport, store, and retrieve inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Safely place/retrieve pallets from rack locations ~32 feet high within double-deep/quad-deep systems.
• Load and unload trailers and containers while maintaining product accuracy and minimizing damage.
• Move and stage pallets between receiving, storage, picking and shipping locations.
• Replenish inventory to support daily picking and shipping operations.
• Pick, stage, and prepare products for shipment as needed.
• Perform daily reach truck inspections and report safety concerns.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain clean, organized pallet locations, aisles, equipment and work areas.
• Assist leadership in maintaining efficient inventory flow.
