Job summary

Arhaus is seeking dedicated individuals to join our distribution center team in Conover, NC. The Equipment Operator will operate reach trucks and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise, while following safety and quality standards.

Day shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM. Competitive starting wage of $20.65 per hour with benefits, sign-on bonus, and opportunities for advancement within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs with or without accommodations
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of experience operating order pickers, cherry pickers, reach trucks, sit-down tow motors, or rider pallet jacks
• Ability to operate equipment at heights up to 35 ft
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Working knowledge of computer programs
• Understanding of distribution/warehousing processes and procedures

Responsibilities

• Pick and put away items using power mobile equipment (cherry picker/reach truck/high-level picker)
• Use RF gun to select orders and put away product per system directions
• Retrieve items for delivery, picking, and staging in assigned areas
• Maintain inventory accuracy by moving product via RF transactions
• Ensure merchandise integrity during movement from rack to dock
• Operate equipment safely following company safety standards
