Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our cold storage warehouse team. You will move, stack, stage, and retrieve palletized food products in high-bay freezer and cooler racking systems.

The role is full-time, 2:00pm–10:30pm, with overtime and one weekend day. Safety and efficiency in a refrigerated environment are essential; training on RF scanners and WMS is provided.

Qualifications

• 2 years of forklift experience required.
• No degree required; OSHA/safety compliant.
• Experience in cold storage environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up reach trucks and high-lift equipment to put away incoming inventory and retrieve pallets from high-rack storage slots (up to 30+ feet).
• Work in cold, refrigerated (34°F), and sub-zero environments (-10°F to 0°F) while handling frozen goods.
• Unload inbound materials and load outbound trailers using reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, and sit-down forklifts.
• Use RF barcode scanners and WMS to tracking inventory movements, confirm rack locations, and perform cycle counts.
• Adhere to FIFO inventory controls and lot number tracking for freshness and safety compliance.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report faults; follow OSHA and internal safety protocols.
• Help maintain a clean, organized warehouse adhering to SQF, FDA, and 5S guidelines.

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our cold storage warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, stacking, staging, and retrieving palletized food products within high-bay freezer and cooler racking systems.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound raw materials and load outbound finished goods trailers using reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, and sit-down forklifts.


• Utilize RF barcode scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, confirm rack locations, and perform cycle counts.


• Adhere strictly to First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory controls and lot number tracking to ensure product freshness and food safety compliance.


• Perform daily pre-shift inspection checks on powered industrial trucks; report equipment faults immediately and follow all OSHA and internal safety protocols.


• Help maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment adhering to SQF, FDA, and 5S sanitation guidelines.
