Job summary

Capital Electric is seeking a Reach Truck Operator to safely operate a stand-up reach truck, store and retrieve products, and support accurate inventory in a warehouse setting. The role focuses on time-sensitive order fulfillment and maintaining a secure, compliant workspace.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of reach truck experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs while standing for extended periods. Shift is 3PM–11:45PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience driving reach trucks.
• Able to work the hours of 3PM - 11:45PM Monday - Friday.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math and reading skills for order verification.
• Familiarity with electrical products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Material handling: Moving pallets of wire and staging in shipping areas.
• Inventory management: Assisting with maintaining accurate inventory records through careful handling and scanning of products.
• Order fulfillment: Picking and preparing customer orders for shipment.
• Safety compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and operating procedures to maintain a secure working environment.

A Reach Truck Operator is a specialized warehouse professional responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a stand-up reach truck. This role involves using the equipment to accurately store, retrieve, and stack products at various height levels within a warehouse racking system.

Key Responsibilities
