Job summary

Abacus Staffing is seeking a Reach Truck Forklift Operator to safely load, unload, and move materials throughout our warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating reach truck, using RF scanners, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to OSHA safety policies. Prior forklift experience and certification are preferred; training may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of reach truck forklift experience.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a reach truck forklift to move products.
• Load and unload trailers and delivery trucks.
• Pick, stage, and transport customer orders accurately.
• Store and retrieve pallets from high racking.
• Use RF scanners or WMS to track inventory.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety policies.
• Keep work areas clean and hazard-free.
• Assist with general warehouse duties.
