Job summary

Simon & Schuster is seeking a Reach Truck Driver for our Jackson, Tennessee distribution facility. You will operate a reach truck and other powered equipment to move, store, replenish, and retrieve inventory across the warehouse, while maintaining strict safety standards.

The role requires experience in fast-paced distribution, a strong focus on accuracy, and the ability to meet productivity and attendance targets. OT and weekend shifts may be required as business needs arise.

Qualifications

• Experience operating reach trucks in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Current forklift certification is preferred; training may be provided.
• Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a reach truck to transport, put away, replenish, and retrieve inventory.
• Place and remove pallets from high-level warehouse racking.
• Move materials to designated storage, picking, staging, and shipping locations.
• Support order-picking and replenishment to maintain efficient flow of merchandise.
• Verify product numbers, quantities, locations, and inventory data using scanners or WMS.
