Job summary

Express Employment is seeking Reach Truck Operators for a company in Shepherdsville. All shifts are available with pay ranging from $18-$20 per hour.

Operate reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks to move materials, support production and distribution, and maintain accurate inventory records. A high school diploma or equivalent and experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or associate degrees may be preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments is advantageous.
• Knowledge of inventory systems (e.g., SAP) and supply chain management principles.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Physical capability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more) and work on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect materials; report discrepancies.
• Move materials to storage or production areas using reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory through stock counts, labeling, and database updates.
• Prepare materials for shipment by pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.
• Assist in kitting, allocation, and managing material expiry or condition requirements.
• Operate and maintain material-handling equipment safely; perform pre-use inspections.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow hazardous materials procedures and obtain required certifications when applicable.

• Following procedures for handling hazardous materials when applicable, including obtaining necessary certifications
