Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Helicopter Pilot for REACH Air Medical Services. This full-time role requires current rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate, instrument rating, and medical certificate, with 2,000 total hours (including 2,000 helicopter hours and 1,000 PIC hours).

A 7/7 schedule and housing support are offered with strong regulatory responsibilities. Applicants must meet the weight limit and instrument hour requirements, and EC135/H135 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours.
• 2,000 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.
• Minimum 100 cumulative instrument hours.
• 200 helicopter night hours.
• 230 lb weight limit with flight gear.
• EC135 / H135 experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent or higher.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch as described in manuals, including FAR and REACH requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording REACH change board details.
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
