Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport services. The role supports safety and mission readiness, with opportunities for on-duty housing and flexible home time.

Ideal candidates hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a Class II Medical Certificate, plus 2,000 total flight hours and 2,000 helicopter hours.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours (and 2,000 helicopter hours).
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours and 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.
• Minimum 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided).
• 230 lb weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a team of medical experts.
• Maintain aircraft readiness per manuals and FAR/REACH requirements.
• Keep accurate REACH and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information and update REACH change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and REACH requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording REACH change board details
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training
