University of La Verne is seeking up to six counselors to support high school students. You will accompany students during scheduled hours, help with classwork, and participate in special events.

Applicants must be ULV students, recommended by a faculty member in the integrated program, and enrolled as business majors/minors. Availability includes evenings and weekends through late June 2024.

Formación

• Current ULV student recommended by Dr. Ghazzawi or a professor from the integrated program.
• Business major/minor.

Responsabilidades

• Counsel high school students.
• Assist with classwork.
• Maintain presence with students during scheduled hours, with some exceptions.

Job Description Summary

Approximately 6 positions available. Counselor to high school students. Help with classwork. Must be with them during hours of work schedule with some exceptions.

Minimum Qualifications

Current ULV student recommended by Dr. Ghazzawi and/or a prof. from the integrated program. Business major/minor.

Preferred Qualifications

Current ENACTUS student. Previous REACH Counselor and/or REACH student and/or in the integrated program. Must be a current La Verne Student for Fall 2025. Spring 2024 graduates are not eligible.

Work Schedule

Up to 28 hours per week Sunday 6/2/2024 through Friday 6/21/2024. Mon-Sun 5:00PM through 12:00AM. Must also be available some weekends & special events. Students enrolled in summer courses can only work up to 20 hours per week.
