Kemper House Strongsville seeks a Reablement Assistant to support an innovative cognitive and physical restoration program for older adults. You will engage clients with a positive, upbeat approach and contribute to a curriculum aimed at improving cognitive abilities and overall health, helping residents live more independently.

Responsibilities include facilitating activities, adapting to individual needs, and coordinating with staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching or coaching in group settings.
• Strong communication and adaptability.
• Interest in brain health or neuroscience is a plus.

The Reablement Assistant facilitates an innovative cognitive and physical restoration program at Kemper House Strongsville.

The ideal candidate engages clientele in a positive and upbeat manner and contributes to a curriculum designed to improve cognitive abilities as well as overall health and performance of older adults, helping them live more independently. Days and hours vary by location, and a weekend rotation may be required.

Ideal Candidate(s)

• Teaching/Training/Coaching experience
• Effective classroom management skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to be adaptive and creative
• Sense of humor and ability to bring enjoyment to the group while instructing
• Brain Health / Neuroscience experience and a Bachelor’s degree is helpful but not required

Job Type

Full-time, Part-time, and PRN.

Salary
