Job summary

Novo Connections in Cordova, TN is seeking a Clinical Dietitian (RD) for an inpatient eating disorder care center on a 13-week contract. This full-time role requires a valid CDR RD credential, TN licensure, and a minimum of two years of experience in this specialty.

You will complete admissions assessments, tailor nutrition rehabilitation plans, lead nutrition groups, and coordinate therapeutic dietary orders with physicians and the culinary team to support recovery.

Qualifications

• CDR credential as Registered Dietitian (RD).
• TN dietetics licensure or ability to obtain licensure upon offer.
• Minimum 2 years of RD experience; preferably with eating disorder clients.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive nutritional assessment on each client upon admission
• Create individualized nutrition rehabilitation plans that account for medical, nutritional, age, cultural, religious and ethnic needs of each client
• Develop, deliver and facilitate nutrition and meal processing groups
• Assist with quality control of culinary and dietary services
• Coordinate therapeutic/medical dietary orders with the attending physician
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef and recovery staff to ensure special diet orders are implemented clearly

Total compensation package: $2,203 Weekly!

JOB OVERVIEW

• Contract assignment: 13 week assignment.
• Location: Cordova, TN 38018
• Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete a comprehensive nutritional assessment on each client upon admission
• Create individualized nutrition rehabilitation plans that account for medical, nutritional, age, cultural, religious and ethnic needs of each client
• Develop, deliver and facilitate nutrition and meal processing groups
• Assist with quality control of culinary and dietary services
• Coordinate therapeutic/medical dietary orders with the attending physician
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef and recovery staff (BHTs, Community Therapists) to ensure that special diet orders (e.g., food allergies, intolerances, and other medical nutrition therapies) are ordered and implemented clearly

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• CDR
• TN dietetics licensure (or ability to be licensed upon offer)
• 2+ years experience working as a RD; preferably with eating disorder clients. Will consider a newly credentialed RD with experience in mental health or a treatment center
