Job summary

Heritage Community of Kalamazoo seeks a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to plan, coordinate and oversee clinical nutrition operations, delivering Medical Nutrition Therapy, malnutrition screenings and individualized interventions for residents. You will educate residents and caregivers and document care and discharge recommendations.

As a member of the leadership team, you will help establish clinical standards, monitor staff performance, lead audits, update policies, and support onboarding,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program and ACEND-approved supervised practice.
• Pass the CDR national examination to become RD/RDN.
• ACEND-accredited pathway required for licensure and credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate clinical nutrition operations and Medical Nutrition Therapy.
• Perform malnutrition screenings, clinical assessments and develop interventions.
• Educate residents and caregivers; document care and discharge recommendations.
• Lead quality improvement activities, audits, policy updates, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with nursing, pharmacy, medical, therapy and other departments.
