Job summary

Bloom By PRC Richmond is seeking a qualified ultrasound technologist to provide ultrasound services for pregnant clients at our Richmond metro locations and to oversee RN staff training in Limited OB exams per AIUM standards. The role requires RDMS certification with OB/GYN experience, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to patient safety. CPR certification and adherence to our faith-based Code are expected.

Qualifications

• Current RDMS registry with 3 years OB/GYN experience.
• Committed Christian faith and sexual purity.
• Able to schedule and perform Limited OB ultrasounds.
• CPR certification required.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule ultrasounds.
• Perform Limited Obstetrical ultrasounds.
• Perform urine pregnancy testing.
• Document findings in patient records.
• Review clinical findings with Nursing Director/Medical Director.
• Provide patient education materials, referrals, and follow-up as needed.
• Maintain CPR certification.
• Review policies and infection control annually.
• Comply with continuing education requirements.

Job description

Job description: Provide ultrasounds to our pregnant clients at our two locations in the Metro Richmond area and oversee training of RN staff in Limited OB exams per AIUM standards.

Qualifications:

1. Committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
2. Strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of all human life.
   
3. Strong commitment and dedication to sexual purity.
4. Agree with and willing to uphold the Code of Christian Conduct and the Statement of Faith.
5. Current RDMS registry with 3 years recent experience (preferably in OB/GYN).
6. Excellent critical decision-making skills in collaboration with the Director of Nursing Services and Medical Director.
7. Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

In conjunction with the Director of Nursing Services: a. Schedule ultrasounds

b. Perform Limited Obstetrical ultrasounds

c. Perform urine pregnancy testing

d. Document clinical findings, observations, and outcomes in patient records

2. Review with the Director of Nursing and/or Medical Director any clinical findings that may be an indication of pregnancy complications.

3. Provide patient education materials, referrals, and follow-up contact as needed in accordance with CenterP policies & Procedures

4. Maintain CPR certification

5. Perform annual review of medical services policies and procedures, infection control regulations, and safety procedures for all staff

6. Comply with state and professional continuing education requirements
