Job Responsibilities

• Promote dental health through procedures like prophylaxis, screenings, radiographs, and charting, compliant with the Dental Practice Act
• Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, and draping
• Provide information and answer patient questions
• Maintain and sterilize instruments
• Select materials and evaluate patient oral health
• Perform prophylaxis, remove deposits and stains
• Detect disease via screenings, examinations, and radiographs
• Apply fluorides and cavity-preventing agents
