Dental Hygienist Responsibilities

• Promote dental health via prophylaxis, screenings, radiographs, and charting
• Prepare patients for treatment, including welcoming and seating
• Provide information and answer patient questions
• Maintain and sterilize instruments
• Select materials based on patient oral health
• Perform prophylaxis, remove deposits, and stains
• Detect disease through screenings and radiographs

Requirements
