Job summary

A-Team Dental Staffing LLC, in partnership with an established private practice in Altadena, California, seeks a Registered Dental Hygienist for a full-time, direct-hire role with potential to advance to Lead Hygienist.

The ideal candidate will focus on periodontal disease control, patient education, and expanding the periodontal program, with opportunities for Kois Center training and leadership mentorship.

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Dental Hygienist license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Local anesthesia certification preferred.
• Laser certification preferred.
• Strong periodontal assessment and clinical skills needed.
• Leadership potential and interest in developing hygiene department.

Responsibilities

• Perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling/root planing.
• Complete periodontal charting and documentation.
• Educate patients about oral-systemic health.
• Develop individualized periodontal treatment plans.
• Collaborate with dentists and specialists on periodontal care.
• Mentor and train other hygiene team members.
