Alpine Dental in Mount Vernon, WA is hiring a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join a growing team focused on preventive and periodontal care. Earn $55-$100/hour with a sign-on/retention bonus and comprehensive benefits.

You will work closely with doctors to provide exams, X-rays, periodontal assessments, patient education, and evidence-based treatment while maintaining thorough records and upholding safety protocols. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Dental Hygienist License or ability to obtain
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Dental Hygiene degree from an accredited program
• Required X-ray certification
• Laser certification preferred
• Experience with dental practice management software preferred
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Excellent organization and time management

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide an exceptional experience
• Perform comprehensive oral health assessments and screenings
• Take diagnostic dental X-rays
• Identify periodontal disease, gingivitis, and other oral health conditions
• Provide individualized preventive and periodontal hygiene treatment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and recommended treatment
• Communicate clinical findings and periodontal needs with the dental team
• Collaborate with dentists on periodontal diagnosis and treatment planning
• Maintain accurate patient charts and clinical documentation
• Follow OSHA, sterilization, and infection control protocols

Education

Dental Hygiene degree from an accredited program

Washington State Dental Hygienist License

X-ray certification

Laser certification preferred
