Job summary
Aland Family Dentistry in Reno, NV seeks a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join a compassionate, family-oriented team. The ideal candidate provides gentle, comprehensive care, including SRP and preventative therapies, with strong communication to educate patients and reduce anxiety.
We offer a generous base pay of $45.00–$50.00 per hour, with production bonuses and a path for mentorship and CE for new grads.
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RDH license in good standing (or in active process)
- Experience with modern dental practice management software and digital charting (Open Dental a major plus)
- Commitment to gentle, comprehensive preventative and periodontal therapies for all ages
- Exceptional communication, warm bedside manner, attention to detail, team-first attitude
- New graduates welcome with dedicated mentorship and CE opportunities
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality exams, prophylaxis, SRP, digital charting, and oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients and address anxieties, engaging them in preventative care plans
- Collaborate with doctors to co-diagnose, review X-rays, assess periodontal health, and craft treatment plans
- Maintain efficient, supportive hygiene department operations and teamwork
