Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
- Experience with EMR systems (Eaglesoft/Dentrix) and digital imaging.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control.
- Comfort with pediatric patients and vital signs monitoring.
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Perform prophylaxis, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
- Conduct patient assessments, vital signs, medical history reviews, and screenings.
- Assist dentist with four-handed dentistry during exams and procedures.
- Capture dental X-rays with strict aseptic technique.
- Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care.
- Document records in Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or SoftDent.
