Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the Regional Distribution Center, manage inventory, scheduling, and distribution of tires, wheels, and accessories, and reduce freight exposure through strong coordination.

You will lead Area Managers, drive safety and compliance with OSHA/DOT policies, mentor staff, conduct weekly huddles, and partner with leadership to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5 years of related experience including 2-3 years supervisory experience preferred
• Experience leading teams and coordinating cross-functional activities

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute warehousing activities to meet daily production goals.
• Lead Area Managers to ensure accurate inventory and on-time deliveries.
• Design methods to increase productivity and service levels.
• Maintain inventory integrity with less than 2% absolute variance.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA/DOT compliance.
