Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply is seeking a Non-CDL Local Delivery Driver in Commerce City, CO to ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods. You will operate company trucks, load and unload, and communicate with customers and staff.

The role requires 21+, valid license, DOT medical card, 6+ months delivery experience, and ability to perform pre/post trip inspections. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Current DOT medical certification card or ability to obtain and maintain a medical certification card.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of product delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks making prompt, on-schedule deliveries and pick-ups.
• Notify management of delays in the delivery schedule.
• Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with customers and staff at all levels.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle.
• Record any damage to vehicles, products, or equipment.
• May assist with standard warehouse activities as needed.

Schedule:Monday - Friday (No Weekends)5:30am - 2:00pmPay Rate: $23.50 – $24.75 per hour (Commensurate with relevant skills and experience).As a Non-CDL Local Delivery Driver at Crescent Electric, you are responsible for the timely and accurate delivery and/or pick-up of goods to specified locations. This includes safe operation of the vehicle, vehicle maintenance, and loading/unloading trucks in an efficient manner.Primary Duties:Drive company trucks making prompt, on-schedule deliveries and pick-ups while notifying management of any delays in the delivery schedule.Establish familiarity with delivery routes and customers’ preferences.Load and unload trucks in an accurate and efficient manner.Effectively communicate to customers and all levels of staff.Maintain vehicle properly and perform daily pre and post trip inspections.Maintain a harmonious relationship with co-workers and customers.Record damage to vehicles, product, and/or equipment.May assist with standard warehouse activities, as needed.Qualifications:Must be 21 years of age or older.Must possess a valid driver's license.Current DOT medical certification card and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a medical certification card.High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).6+ months of product delivery experience.Physical Demands:Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping.
