Job summary

Lennox International is seeking a Distribution Associate to perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. You will verify items, pack according to specifications, and record transactions.

A high school diploma and 1+ year experience are required; forklift certification is preferred. The role offers an hourly non-exempt position with pay in the $17.31–$22.71 range, plus overtime eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

What Drives Success

This distribution associate performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Receive goods, verify items against the shipment record, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the chosen transportation method.
• Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation.

What We Are Looking For

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
• Prefer forklift certification.Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
• Requires basic reading, writing, and numerical ability.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record may be required.
• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Effective verbal communication skills. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

What We Offer

Compensation:This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $17.31-$22.71hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
