Job summary

Lennox in the United States is seeking a distribution associate to perform shipment and receipt duties in a fast-paced environment. You will verify goods, pack items, document transactions, and move materials to inspection or stock areas, enabling smooth operations across the supply chain.

Requires a high school diploma, 1 year related experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license may be required.

This distribution associate performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Receive goods, verify items against the record of shipment and inspect condition.
• Gather, verify and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used.
• Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation.

What We Are Looking For

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 1 year related experience. Prefer forklift certification. Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions. Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability. Valid driver’s license with good driving record may be required. Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift. Effective verbal communication skills. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

What We Offer

Compensation:

This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $18hr to $24hr. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
