Job summary

Lennox International in the United States is seeking a distribution associate to handle shipment receipt, packing, and records. You will verify goods, prepare items for transport, and route materials to stock areas.

This hourly, non-exempt role offers a starting pay range of $17.31–$22.71 per hour, eligibility for overtime, and benefits including insurance, 401(k), PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical ability.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

What Drives Success

This distribution associate performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Receive goods, verify items against the shipment record, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the chosen transportation method.
• Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation.

What We Are Looking For

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
• Prefer forklift certification.Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
• Requires basic reading, writing, and numerical ability.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record may be required.
• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Effective verbal communication skills. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $17.31-$22.71hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
