Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience as an RDA.
• Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and seats them in the appropriate treatment room.
• Reviews patient health history and documents medications and conditions.
• Obtains and documents vital signs and reports abnormalities.
• Assists the dentist during treatments, exams, and procedures.
• Takes and develops x-rays, photos and CBCTs as appropriate.
• Sets up and breaks down operatory equipment to keep the doctor on schedule.
• Educates patients on oral care and maintains instrument sterility.
• Maintains and organizes patient charts and treatment plans.
