Job summary

Duvall Family Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team with state-of-the-art technology and a supportive culture. You’ll greet patients, review health history, take x-rays, and provide chairside assistance to our dentists.

Ideal candidates have dental experience and certifications, strong communication, and a commitment to patient care. You’ll use Dentrix and follow OSHA/CDC safety standards while ensuring smooth office workflow.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment is preferred.
• Regular HIPAA training and data safeguards are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate for treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scans, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols (OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place expeditious orders; support office workflow.
