Job summary

Swish Dental is seeking a highly motivated Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team in Austin, TX. The role supports the dentist in a fast-paced clinical studio, handling radiographs, chairside assistance, and patient care with a strong emphasis on safety and infection control.

Ideal candidates will have a Dental Assisting Certificate, Texas RDA license after one year, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to travel to other locations if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate of Completion from a Dental Assisting Course required.
• Texas RDA License required after 1+ years of certification; CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms.
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout their visit.
• Take impressions of patients' teeth.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a “team first” and “patient first” mentality.
• Continuously increase dentistry knowledge and job skills.
• Adhere by State, Federal, and local compliance standards.
