Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a skilled RCM Technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on complex facility systems at Moffett Field, CA. The role requires vibration analysis, thermography, and strong data analysis skills to support PM/PD&I programs.

You will install monitoring hardware, manage data sets, and contribute to root cause analyses. A minimum of 2 years field experience and Maximo CMMS knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Education: HS/GED with 4-year journeyman or 2-year technical school.
• Must be trained in vibration analysis and thermography to Level I.
• Experience: 2 years in field.
• Training: Certified in tribology, alignment, airborne ultrasonics, MCE, MCSA, precision balancing, Dranetz.
• ASNT Level I or higher required for training/certification.
• OEM training can substitute where no standard exists.

Responsibilities

• Performs data collection using current tech; loads, dumps, and analyzes route data.
• Builds/updates data sets and databases (alarms, trends); assists troubleshooting.
• Installs vibration monitoring hardware on critical facility systems.
• Completes admin tasks (failure reports) and participates in Root Cause Analysis; evaluates PM/PI tasks.
• Maintains currency in RCM/PdM technologies.

Job Overview

The RCM Technician performs preventive and predictive maintenance on complex facility systems which may include HVAC, boiler, electronic, refrigeration, and electrical.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

• Performs data collection utilizing current technology and uses current software to load, dump, and analyze route data.


• Builds and updates associated data sets and databases (e.g., alarms, trends). Works with other maintenance personnel to capture information for instructive analysis and provides technological assistance with troubleshooting.


• Performs installation of vibration monitoring hardware on critical facility systems.


• Performs associated administrative tasks (e.g., failure reports) and participates in Root Cause Analysis. Assists in evaluation of technical content and performance interval of PM and PT&I maintenance tasks. Helps evaluate priority of new equipment and re-evaluate older equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains technical currency in various RCM/PdM technologies.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:

• Education: High school graduate or GED, and completion of a 4-year journeyman level course or 2-year technical school required. Must be trained in vibration analysis and thermography to a Level I certification level.


• Experience: 2 years of experience in field.


• Training: Must be certified in tribology, alignment, airborne ultrasonics, motor circuit evaluation (MCE), motor current signature analysis, precision balancing of rotating equipment and Dranetz operation.


• Certifications and training must equal or exceed American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level I requirements.


• Record of completion of OEM conducted training, with curriculum, may be substituted for ASNT Level I certification where no standard exists.


• Skill Requirements: Working knowledge of Maximo or compatible computerized maintenance management system.

Hourly Rate: 63.78
