GI Alliance is seeking an experienced RCM Quality Analyst
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Position purpose
Provides key support to the Call Center Leader in support and management of overall Call Center operations.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Listens to call recording and/or reviews action taken by end user and provides insight and solutions to management to maximize accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with supervisors to share quality performance issues and provide regular reports on overall performance and trends.
- Create and complete quality score cards to track performance levels.
- Participate in (and lead if asked) the quality review sessions with end users.
- Facilitate quality calibration sessions with all vendor partners.
- Identify and support other opportunities for quality improvement across the team.
- Develop materials and process documentation to support training, as needed.
- Keep management informed on critical issues.
- Assists with development of the training and QA process.
- Models and shares best practices with the team members with ability to receive feedback and act when appropriate.
- Do in-depth root cause analysis on escalated accounts or errors that may arise outside of the standard audit % and program.
- Maintains privacy and confidentiality per policy and HIPAA regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2-5 years of prior physician billing experience is designated/assigned department/workflow required.
Performance Requirements
- Be able to read and understand medical benefits.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service skills are required.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Requires solid analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to elicit, gather, and analysis data.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills.
- Ability to perform in a deadline driven environment.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Self-motivated with initiative.
- Strong sense of ethics.
Requirements
Requirements for Level I Status:
- Should be a leader and viewed as a leader by other staff.
- No performance or disciplinary actions in last year.
- Serves as mentor/trainer for teammates in field.
- Considered as subject-matter expert in area by peers, management, and physicians.
Equipment Operated: This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Work Environment: Working remotely.
Physical Requirements: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Position may involve standing, sitting, bending, and reaching. May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and muscle pain. Could cause stress if workload is heavy. May on occasion require light lifting of no greater than 20 pounds and some offsite travel.
