Pay Range: $22-$26 Hourly

Position Summary
This role will include a variety of duties, as assigned by Manager, which include but are not limited to: Collections, Billing, Benefits Verification, and other ad hoc projects as needed. Will be the point of contact of daily communication of issue resolution on designated accounts. Assist with problem solving and issues with high dollar A/R accounts, assist in back-up for our Collection and Billing teams and will collaborate on best practices for improved efficiencies in the revenue cycle.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Training

• High School diploma required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in patient accounts, BV and / or collections with Major Medical Specialty Pharmacy infusion collections.
• Familiar with AR and operational health care systems.
• Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Familiar with the authorization process, appeal process and other processes/procedures integral to AR collection efforts.
• Experience with billing and foundation assistance application procedures.
• Able to multitask and utilize excel in a fast-paced working environment.
• Able to problem solve and assist coworkers through the thought process of solving problems.
• Collaborate on best practices for efficiency and streamlines communication throughout teams.

Essential Job Duties

• Manage the coordination, execution, and tracking of payer-related projects and initiatives.
• Assist with project implementation, payer escalations, reporting tasks, and cross-functional collaboration initiatives.
• Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and continuous process improvement.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members regarding payer workflows, systems, and best practices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payer project updates and communication with RCM counterparts.
• Display flexibility in supporting ad hoc assignments and cross-departmental projects as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex payer and reimbursement issues, collaborating with internal departments and payers.
• Act as an ambassador for Orsini culture and represent the organization professionally in all interactions.
