US Anesthesia Partners is hiring a Payer Compliance Specialist I – RCM to analyze allowed amounts on claims, review postings, and process corrections to maximize contract allowances. The role requires independent problem solving, strong interpersonal skills, and timely handling of multiple tasks while communicating with various internal teams and payers.

The base pay range is $16.49–$26.39 hourly with eligibility for a quarterly bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in healthcare revenue cycle.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Familiar with CPT, ICD-9, and ASA coding.
• Analytical skills to identify underpayments.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to gather and report information.

Responsibilities

• Follow payer compliance SOPs.
• Analyze, evaluate, and validate payer variances.
• Manage corrective actions via appeal or escalation.
• Gather appeal documentation and file appeals.
• Follow up on appeal results 45–60 days post submission.
• Research payer systemic issues and variance trends.
• Use guidance matrix to report variances to leadership.
• Learn payer policies and contractual terms.
• Investigate refund requests and respond appropriately.
• Coordinate with contract management on term discrepancies.
• Communicate regularly with management on payer issues.
