Job summary

Specialty1 Partners, headquartered in Houston, TX, is seeking an RCM Analyst to support the Revenue Cycle Management team through reporting, data analysis, and BI activities. You will deliver accurate, timely reporting that improves visibility into payor, credentialing, and revenue cycle performance.

The role requires strong data skills from day one, including SQL and Power BI, with domain training provided by the RCM Intelligence Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business analytics, computer science, statistics, information systems, or related technical field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, BI, reporting, or related field.
• Experience building reports/dashboards in Power BI or comparable BI platform required.
• SQL experience to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases required.
• Experience with healthcare data is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring reports, dashboards, scorecards, and ad hoc analyses supporting RCM operations.
• Collect, validate, and analyze data from practice management systems, billing platforms, payor portals, credentialing systems, and other sources.
• Identify trends, variances, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in financial data.
• Monitor KPIs and provide timely reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy and integrity.
• Automate recurring reports and improve reporting processes to reduce manual effort.
• Translate analytical findings into clear summaries and visuals for non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in projects involving data integration, reporting improvements, system enhancements, and optimization.
• Analyze payor performance, reimbursement trends, and variances; support contract negotiations analysis.
• Develop reporting processes to monitor negotiated reimbursement rates and payor compliance.
• Support credentialing analytics: enrollment, participation, aging, expirations, turnaround times.
