Job summary

Alford Drilling, LLC is seeking an RC Surface Helper in Elko, NV to support drilling operations and assist the driller and crew with extraction, handling, site maintenance, and equipment support.

The role emphasizes safe, efficient, and organized drilling operations, requiring basic experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass safety screenings; on-site work with potential vehicle operation and inventory tasks is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years directly related experience.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Sufficient language skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to pass a hair follicle drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures strictly.

Responsibilities

• Work under instructions of driller/drilling field supervisor.
• Follow all policies, procedures and best practices to ensure safety.
• Operate non-drilling equipment such as light or heavy vehicles, tele handlers, forklift, etc.
• Maintain accurate operating records, including daily shift reports and inventory logs.
• Support drilling operations such as handling rods, drilling tools, sampling, housekeeping, etc.
