Job summary

ACV Auctions, a technology-driven car marketplace, seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator for its Fort Wayne facility. You will safely move inoperable vehicles around the property and assist with loading on flatbeds or car haulers.

The role requires 2–5 years of related experience (training provided); wheel loaders and heavy equipment experience preferred. We value teamwork, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced yard environment.

POSITION SUMMARY: Safely move inoperable vehicles throughout property. May load and unload vehicles from flatbed, or car hauler trailers. Will also move dirt or stones as needed with bucket.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Support operations in moving of vehicles and support maintenance with property upkeep.

Ability to read worksheets by simple instruction

Ability to work alone or as part of a team, unsupervised.

EXPERIENCE

Will train, 2-5-years previous experience preferred.

Experience with Wheel Loaders other heavy equipment preferred.
